Sacraments of Healing & Vocation

The Sacraments of Healing and Vocation course will examine the Sacraments of Healing: 1) Reconciliation and 2) Anointing of the Sick and the Sacraments of Vocation: 1) Matrimony and 2) Holy Orders. The theology of the sacrament, the origins of the sacrament, and the way in which each sacrament is practiced in the Catholic Church will be examined to lead the participant into an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, who is “the key, the center and the purpose of the whole of human history” (Gaudium et spes, n. 10) by helping them more intimately encounter the Christ of the Sacraments of Healing and Vocation and the liturgical life of the Church.
